Record your take
Press keys ▶. After four clicks you have eight bars. Tap and hold chords in your own rhythm: short stabs, long holds, off-beat hits.
Hear it loop
After eight bars your take plays back in a loop, exactly as you played it. Not happy? Tap the red bin and DrHits counts you in for a fresh take, while the drums keep going.
Pick a keyboard sound
Scroll to the Keyboard section and tap a sound: Juno pad, rhodes, wurly, strings, choir, supersaw, cats and more. Tap bank to switch to bank 2 (Pro) for vocoder, hoover, “oh yeah”, jaw harp and more.
Set the volume
Turn the volume knob next to the sounds to balance the keys against the drums and bass.
Add effects
Under Effects, switch on reverse, delay, flanger, tremolo or chorus. Mix a couple: chorus and delay make pads huge, tremolo gives electric pianos a vintage wobble.
